Terms of Use

These terms govern CaveDevil Survey and CaveDevil Map Manager, provided by Glazer Dynamics Pty Ltd, ACN 699 791 609, ABN 71 699 791 609, D-U-N-S Number 781596875.

Use of the services

The services provide cave-survey field collection, visualisation, storage, collaboration, and related tools. You are responsible for verifying measurements, maps, calibration results, firmware compatibility, exports, and submitted records. You must use the services lawfully and have the right to upload or share your content.

Safety

CaveDevil is not a life-safety, navigation, rescue, or emergency service. Caving and underground work are hazardous. Do not rely on the services, a phone, a Bluetooth connection, or one set of survey data to protect life or property. Use trained personnel, established safety procedures, independent navigation, and redundant equipment.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display, back up, and transmit content to provide the features you select. Club or shared-workspace rules may also apply to content you submit there.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep account credentials secure and give accurate account information. Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt service operation, distribute malicious content, infringe rights, or upload information you are not authorised to process. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or material misuse.

Devices, availability, and backups

Compatibility with a particular instrument, firmware, operating system, or third-party server is not guaranteed. Features may change or be interrupted. Keep independent backups of important surveys before deleting the app, changing devices, or installing firmware.

Payments

Prices, billing periods, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Third-party payment-provider terms may apply. Statutory refund and consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. Nothing excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian consumer guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the services.

Ending use

You may stop using the services at any time. Deleting the mobile app does not delete uploaded data or a web account. See the Privacy Policy and Support for deletion requests.

Store terms and contact

The relevant app store terms also apply. For Apple distributions, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a custom licence is shown in App Store Connect. Questions can be submitted through Support.
